Teak nest of three tables, designed by H.W. Klein manufactured in the 1960s by Bramin Møbler, Bramming, Denmark.
This beautifully crafted set of tables, are elegantly designed and manufactured to a high quality. The table tops are teak veneer on engineered board and have solid teak, moulded edges that connect, on the table’s gently rounded corners, with butt joints. The solid teak, tapering legs are finely turned and screw into the table top with a steel threaded dowel; the tables have no apron, giving them a minimalist and elegant silhouette. The legs can be readily unscrewed, making the tables easily transportable. The middle and small tables slide into runners on the underside of the table one larger than itself, suspending them from the floor; when they’re all nested, only the largest table is standing on the ground. The table tops have been refinished with 3 coats of Danish Oil and wax.
These tables are a lovely example of Danish Modernism and their minimal design would lend itself well to a range of interiors, including mid-century, Danish modern, contemporary and even art nouveau and cottage design schemes.
